Roller shutter door for Salvatex

We were asked to quote for the installation of a new roller shutter door, for Salvatex in Corby, to replace their fully cladded wall. We sent our main estimator to visit the premises to see what was going to be the best solution for the client requirements. A quote was submitted within 2 working days and we were rewarded the contract and were able to complete the work within the required timescale of 2 weeks, allowing us time to order and take delivery of the necessary parts.   Our engineers Shay, Guy and Liam got down to business and quickly made a large opening to facilitate the new roller shutter. This was the end result and a very happy customer. We would like to thank Rob at Salvatex for asking us to complete this installation. At Milex Engineering Ltd we do our very best to meet our customers needs and standards....

Orchard House

Airlock door for Orchard House Foods Project brief Milex were commissioned by Ian Aunger, Orchard House Foods, to design, manufacture and install an Airlock to prevent contamination in the food production area. We accepted the brief and our technical designers produced an interlocking system which we submitted for approval.   Meeting client design specification The design specification stated that the interlocking system should be in keeping with the existing Airlock on the side of the building. Construction considerations The Airlock specifications required a solid concrete base, 100 mm insulated panels (as this is a chilled area), functional and suitable lighting and safety barriers. Provision must also be made to incorporate two existing gas vents as the building position was outside an existing boiler room. Work in progress The photo below shows work underway, with the solid concrete base and our Electrician, Phil inspecting and installing the power provision. Airlock under construction Airlock well under construction, showing gas vents installed and traffic light at the right hand side of the door. Final Inspection Completed job to Customer specification and satisfaction.  2 x Hormann 6030SL Fast Doors, fully interlocked with traffic lights for indicating access.
